This week, we meet our Love Home Swap member Brooke from the U.S who swaps her stunning Williamsburg Penthouse for Rebecca's beautiful stone house in Bordeaux, the wine capital of France.
Brooke is a nurse who lives with her musician and photographer husband and their much loved American Bulldog, they both love good food, wine and active vacations. Interior designer Rebecca lives with Simon, a managing director and their 2 children age 5 and 13. They love travelling as a family as well as good food and shopping!
Brooke's Williamburg Penthouse with THE best views of Manhattan
This outstanding penthouse apartment is situated on the picturesque bend of the east river in Williamsburg with the most amazing views of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. The Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and the Freedom Tower can be viewed while relaxing and enjoying the outside terrace complete with seating and dining areas with luxury pool.

How much they saved: We usually spend $2,500 - $3,000 on Manhattan hotels so a lot!

Rebecca's beautiful French stone house in Bordeaux, France
Hidden among the vines in wine country, this gorgeous French retreat was a perfect for Brooke and her husband. Featuring a stunning infinity pool on the banks of the Dordogne River, the house is perfect for relaxing away from the city. For an exploration of the surrounding area, numerous villages live nearby including Sainte-Foy-la-Grande which has been voted one of the most beautiful Saturday markets in France.
What Brooke loved about Rebecca's home:The property was clean and beautifully decorated The house and surroundings were so tranquil, we immediately were able to relax A well stocked kitchen and kitchen supplies
How much they saved: ALOT. To rent a house like this for a week would have easily been $3 -5 K.
