Experienced home swapper Judi is a Landscape Architect from New Zealand, she lives with partner Allan who is an environmental planner and keen birdwatcher, both being very interested in natural history, conservation and design.
Award Winning Mountain Forest Retreat in Manaia, New Zealand
Part of a private gated conservation estate, this architecturally designed home offers total privacy, tranquility and luxury in a beautiful area of wild New Zealand. The two bedroom home was newly built, winning design and sustainable home awards.
The main living area boasts a high quality sound system, home theatre, library and spectactular forest views all round. Judi and Allan love cooking and fine dining which is reflected in their ultra modern and stunning kitchen. The home is a perfect couples retreat, only 5 minutes walk from the house is a breathtaking 20 metre waterful with natural pools for swimming and a popular place for picnics and a great bottle of New Zealand wine.

Active retired British couple Elaine and her partner have two grown up daughters living in the UK but have now made France their home. A beautiful riverside setting within 1 hour of the coast with a wide range of activities with a spacious and light filled property, secluded garden, pool, and summer kitchen. This 19th century Charantaise house comprises of a modern fitted kitchen and open plan dining area. Wonderful countryside views can be seen from all the main rooms and the ground floor opens out to a large dining terrace overlooking the river. A perfect lounge area with heated pool, fully equipped summer kitchen and large barbeque.
The nearby village Port D'Envaux is popular with its bakeries and restaurants erving Charentaise specialities. The village is well known locally for its attractive riverside setting, perfect for a picturesque stroll towards the boulangerie for freshly baked morning baquette and croissants!
