Modern Toilet Restaurant, Taiwan:
Modern toilet is a unique, bathroom-themed restaurant based in Taiwain but with several other branches across Asia. Personally if ever there was a more unappetizing concept than eating from a toilet I cannot think of it however for some it is obviously 'an experience'. The chairs are toilets, the tables are glass covered sinks, drinks are served in urinals and food in a miniature toilet bowl that can be taken home as a souvenir! Owner Wang Zi-Wei, an exbanker who now owns 12 of these unusual eateries across Asia, stated that his inspiration for the bathroom themed restaurant came from a robot character in a Japanese cartoon, Dr. Slump loved to 'play with poop and swirl it on a stick'…..Lovely.

Nyotairmori restaurant, Japan
Nyotaimori is a Japanese restaurant that serves sushi or sashimi on the naked body of a woman, the name literally means 'female body plate'. The 'Nyotairmori' tradition in Japan dictates that a woman lies down, usually naked and basically becomes a living serving plate for the duration of the meal. The 'plate' is trained to lie still for a hours on end and endure the temperatures of the food whether hot or cold! Before the service the individual would clean using fragrance free soap and finishes off with a cold shower to cool the body down somewhat for the sushi. There are a large number of these restaurants across Asia and they have even started popping up in Europe, namely Rome and London. Understandably, the concept has sparked controversy, particularly among feminists, Julie Bindle writes an interesting account for The Guardian.
Cannibal Restaurant, Japan
The Cannibalistic restaurant in Japan really takes 'body dining' to another level. Dinner is rolled out on a gurney and is a life size model of a human being made out of food, you can even choose the sex of your 'meal'! Operating anywhere on the body will present you with edible treats for example, cut into the abdomen and the intestines are made of sushi! The body will even bleed when you 'operate', it is a banquet of cannibalism. To confuse your inner psychopath and book a 'meal', visit their facebook page.
