About our home

The house was built 10 years ago on a vacant lot, but had to conform in style with the heritage listed, tree-lined street in which it is located. We are within minutes walk of Erskineville and Newtown, two of the most trendy suburbs in Sydney, with their cafes and restaurants from every culture in the world.

20 minutes drive away are some beautiful beaches and we are 10 minutes on the train from the heart of this pulsating city and the Harbour.

The house is beautifully finished with (mainly Latin American - I am a Professor of Spanish) art adorning the walls. There is a delightful back courtyard, with palm tree and fountain in which to relax with a glass of the excellent local wine.

More about us

  1. We are a mature couple, who travel in search of the sun, and food, and wine, and art...
  2. John is a retired Professor of Spanish and Erifili is employed in a medical centre
  3. We love our home and Sydney but ,most of all, each other.
