About our home

Our home was built in 2015, and was designed with our family of young kids in mind. It is a modern home with beautiful timber floors and modern appliances. The home features a separate parent's retreat at one end of the house and a kids wing, including playroom and loft, at the other end of the house.

The large entertainment deck flows out from the kitchen, and both feature magnificent open views, encompassing the lake at Tinaroo Dam and the local farmland.

The Atherton Tablelands is 1 hour drive from Cairns, which is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. The Tablelands itself is home to gorgeous lakes that are used for swimming and recreational boating activities - lakes Tinaroo, Barrine and Eacham all offer unique experiences. There is a wide range of attractions that will suit all types of visitors - is a website that provides a good summary of things to do in the area.
