About our home

We built Bush Haven in 2005 as our country retreat. It's on the only main road through the Wombat State Forest, just out of the village of Blackwood. There is a hotel, a restaurant and mineral water available in the village. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away in Trentham. This is a delightful, peaceful part of the world!

More about us

  1. Couple rapidly approaching empty nest and grey nomad stage of life.
  2. Keith is a semi-retired consultant, trainer and lecturer; Marilyn has just moved into a new career in nursing.
  3. Our listed house is our Bush Haven, built just 8 years ago for relaxing and sharing the beautiful Australian bush with others.
