About our home

Our home is renovated sympathetically to 1840's style, with modern kitchen and bathroom (bath and shower, toilet, laundry). An attic room provides extra beds, toilet and basin. Our home is suitable for older children; but not for under 6 years old. Both wood and electric heating. The house is on half an acre, fully fenced. Gardens with vegetables, fruit trees flower beds. Separate studio for art and fibre work. Slab shed for tools, bicycles. Close to supermarket and shops. Views to fields and hills. One hour to Canberra, one hour to the ocean, Three hours to the snow fields, or to Sydney by car.

More about us

  1. We are two women sharing the house in a partnership. Contact us: faydelmaine@bigpond.com OR ingridbaasbecking@bigpond.com
  2. We are both retired. Ingrid from Psychology Counsellor and now she is becoming an artist. See her works at Ingrid Baas Becking's Art on Facebook; Fay from Special Librarian (previously: High School teaching; Opera singing), and now spinning, weaving and knitting alpaca fleece from her animals.
  3. We love Art and Craft. We love living here, in the country-side, with friendly neighbours and residents. Our town is very oriented to Arts and Crafts and many practitioners live here. It is also a farming community, with vineyards and sheep and cattle farms.
