About our home

Sunny, spacious, charming two bedroom and one sunroom house with a nice front and a great back deck, palm trees in the yard, flying foxes and Kookaburras visiting, well connected, yet leafy suburb with parks and public pool in minutes walking distance close to the Brisbane River, yet just 12 minutes into the CBD by train (abt 4km), which departs in short walking distance. The University of Queensland is also close.
Brisbane is Queensland's capital - the sunshine state. There are vibrant urban villages across the city. Each suburb is a hub of activity with its own distinct vibe, unique personality and seemingly endless offering of things to see and do.
Brisbane is a great and beautiful, growing and modern city with lots on offer. Enjoy for example its South Bank cultural precinct with institutions including Queensland Museum and Sciencentre, with noted interactive exhibitions, and Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, among Australia's major contemporary art museums. Besides the beautiful and exciting city itself make options for day trips to Moreton Island, Noosa, Stradbroke Island, Glasshouse Mountains, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast hinterland, Brisbane is a prime location.
World treasures such as the Great Barrier Reef, Gondwana forests are easily accessible when your base is Brisbane. For example visit Springbrook National park's cool forests and mountain streams and offer views of impressive landscapes, and walks among subtropical and temperate rainforest, open eucalypt forest and montane heath. Spectacular waterfalls, cascades and tumbling creeks are dominant features in this Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area.
