About our home

Our 2 bedroom unit is nothing fancy but once you get here you'll not want to leave. Situated on the Brisbane river across from Queensland University, you may well be happy to stay home all day watching the river activities. Close to the City and West End. Canoes for your river paddling adventures on those days when you don't want to sit and talk to the Kookaburras who come to visit, or hang out at local galleries and cafes. Car negotiable.

20 minute walk into the City, the University, West End or the Cultural Centre, Southbank, Resturants, Cafes, Cinemas, Parks and our new Gallery of Modern Art. The University has great sports facilities. Southbank is Brisbane's social city centre, with fun for all the family. The ongoing celebrations and programs being run at our newly renovated State Library and NEW Gallery of Modern Art, are a great extension of the wonderful things happening at what is known as Brisbane's Cultral Centre, just a short walk, bike or bus ride away. Good Public transport. Friendly neighbours. River front.

Just the two of us. Graphic Designer/Artist and aspiring jeweller. We both do Community Cultural Development work and have worked in remote parts of Australia. We live fairly simply, but enjoy good food, books, film and nice places.
