About our home

Home is an extremely large colonial home called a Queenslander in Australia. Built !0ft off the ground to capture prevailing breezes this home is of historical significance in Bundaberg. Built in 1912 the house has the graciousness of a colonial lady whilst many improvements make it just as comfortable as a 21st century home or apartment. Set in large lawn and tree studded grounds the home offers a degree of privacy seldom found in most dwellings. Centrally located the home is within walking distance of the city centre, shopping malls, sporting facilities library and art gallery. Nearby are tropical beaches with golden sands and at the right times of the year whales cavort as the waves kiss the shoreline. The Great Barrier Reef And Fraser Islands can be accessed from Bundaberg with a minimum of effort . Home is well appointed with inground swimming pool, billiard table, library, cable tv ,dvd etc .

Hom is located in quiet surburban neighbourhood with little through traffic. Bundaberg has very little personal crime Interested swappers will be able to access all relevent information on Bundaberg from the home owner or refer to a net site

Home owners are very active and semi retired, Male recently retired from the Principalship of a State School whilst my lady has been involved in the Hospitality Industry. We are limited in our languages - English - but regard the opportunity to live within another culture as an opportunity to broaden our experiences. Both keen gardeners we have cultivated extensive gardens around our home . Avid readers and crossword puzzle solvers. Dependable, responsible, clean, organized and caring swappers who would treat your home with respect.
