About our home

Our home is a Edwardian double fronted house in a brilliant location in the inner city suburb of Camberwell. An affluent, friendly and family focused suburb of Melbourne with constantly plenty to do. A great walking/running/cycling track called the Anniversary trail nearby with several tennis clubs, many large parks and playgrounds all walking distance, great schools, many shopping strips and cafes, restaurants and boutiques. The tram and train are both less than 1 minute walk, direct to the city ( 20 minutes by both ). We also have a beach house on the Great Ocean Road, in a town called Torquay (see our other listing) that you are welcome to use and of coarse use of our SUV. Air Conditioned/Central Heating with a front and rear garden. Also - I am French so can respond to you in either Français/French.
Preferably looking for swap in French Polynesia / France / Hawaii but open to anywhere.

We have 2 small dogs, French Bulldogs which can either stay at the house or can be taken by family if you prefer not to have dogs while you stay at our place. Although the cat, will need to stay. Depending on timing, you may also be able to use the beach house (at no cost) although this listing is just for the Camberwell house. I do have a separate listing for the Torquay beach house.

At time of this listing, we have just recently finished a complete extension/renovation of the back part of the house. The front is original 1904 heritage listed and has beautiful period features reflective of this such as high ceilings, ornate cornices and ceiling roses, fireplaces and gorgeous original hardwood floors. The back part of the house, where the living areas are is a brand new addition that includes a sparkling new white kitchen with stone bench tops, butlers walk in pantry, laundry, new bathrooms and ensuite, all open living areas and lots of natural light from large glass doors and windows. Because of the recent renovation, our landscaping outside is not yet finished but we are currently working on it and aim to have it finished around February 2016.
