About our home

A cute seaside cottage, nestled at the top of a hill overlooking the Moreton Bay. Partially air conditioned with a back deck to capture bay breezes. Two renovated bathrooms and three re-decorated bedrooms make this a cosy and beautiful retreat between Brisbane city and the Sunshine Coast. Would be suitable for a couple with two young children or a couple only.
Local restaurants, a service station, supermarket and bottle shop make the location a mini paradise should you wish to just relax with everything you need close by.

This friendly street overlooks the new Hornibrook Bridge and Moreton Bay, with the fishing pier a walk down the steps. is a very short walk to restaurants, the golf club, supermarket, the beach, wine cellars and and public transport. Water sports are features with Jet skiing only a few minutes away at Bell's Beach. The Peninsula is renowned for the Easter Festival of Sails, Settlement Cove and world-famous Morgan's Seafood restaurant. It is a tourist destination that includes whale watching (from June to November), cruises to Tangalooma and Moreton Island.

I live with my teenage daughter who is heading off to university this year. I work in planned maintenance for a water company and love the beach lifestyle. Both my daughter and I participate in personal training and I love to kayak and go mountain biking.

I have travelled extensively and speak conversational Spanish, albeit a bit scratchy these days. I love the close proximity to the water and new bridge and enjoy walking along the prominade as well as heading over the Hornibrook Bridge to visti historica Sandgate and Shorncliffe overlooking another aspect of Moreton Bay.
