About our home

Full of light and artworks, our architect-designed two level apartment is situated on a quiet, leafy street with a bike route past the front door. In a university neighbourhood insulated from the city’s noise, it’s very centrally located, with a major train station a level eight minute walk away (it's fifteen minutes by train to Circular Quay and the Opera House) and buses just up the road. The small bars and restaurants of King St and two Olympic pools are fifteen minutes walk away. We're right across the road from Carriageworks arts venue with its renowned performance and exhibition program, weekly growers market and licensed café/restaurant. There’s a park at the end of the street with a playground and a community garden, and a café strip nearby.

Our family home has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a new mattress, air-conditioning, a sunny balcony with views towards the city and an ensuite bathroom with shower. There are two spacious additional bedrooms with single beds and ceiling fans and one extra mattress for a visitor. The second bathroom has a shower over a full bath. The open plan living room has french doors opening to a wisteria-shaded north-facing terrace with a barbeque, herb garden and district views. The kitchen is fully equipped including a coffee grinder, espresso machine and a bread-maker, and there's a laundry with front-loading washing machine and dryer. There's also reliable WiFi. There are adults’ and kids’ bikes, a couple of skateboards, a piano and a (left-handed) guitar. Last but not least, our gorgeous, friendly cat is an optional extra!

Please note that because our home has open-tread stairs and unprotected balconies, it isn't suitable for very young children.
