About our home

Our home which we built in 2001 in a light filled modern queenslander, set on 2.5 acres of land surrounding by palm trees that attract a variety of birdlife. The main living areas are open plan and the kitchen has a breakfast bar and excellent appliances. The lounge and dining areas open out to a stunning verandah with pool, barbeque and lounge, which reflects the Australian outdoor lifestyle. The breathtaking views include Mt Cooroy with wide open skies and treelines that offer a sense of privacy and proximity to nature. There are 3 bedrooms, with double beds in each, plus the master bedroom has an ensuite. The generous main bathroom has a bath and shower, plus a separate toilet and sink. The main living areas are air conditioned and there are ceiling fans in each room. The house is in the highly sought after neighbourhood of Doonan, which is 10 minutes to the pristine Noosa beach and the renowned and buzzy restaurants of Hastings Street, and a similar distance to the famous Eumundi Markets and the beautiful hinterland. We are only around 1.5 hours from Brisbane and 2.5 hours from the theme parks of the Gold Coast. Stroll along the beautiful Noosa River, or catch the ferry to the beach. Enjoy the many hikes in the national park, where you can see dolphins off the coastline or Koalas in the gum trees. This is a well-loved home, that is ideal for a family holiday or for a group of friends to enjoy.

  2. Richard is a cabinetmaker and Sharon is an art teacher.
