About our home

Looking for accommodation for myself and my two teenage daughters (16& 18) close to London, Rome, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, and surrounds. My home is available for a 6 week stay from end August 2017 to first week in October 2017.

Our house is a modern well equip home, immaculately presented and sits on the outskirts of Melbourne making it a perfect destination for those who not only want to visit the City of Melbourne but also those who want to explore the rest of Victoria. Located close to the airport and freeways, it is a perfect home base for you to come and go as you wish and a lock up garage if you decide to hire a car.

Parklands / Wetlands are a plenty with kangaroos almost literally at our doorstep. There's a lovely shopping village a 10 minute stroll away which boasts Cafes, Restaurants, Supermarket, Fruit & Vegetables, Butcher, Hairdressers, Nail/Beauty/Massage and more.

Doreen is a very quite peaceful, safe area with 2 bus routes (5 min walk) linking you to the train for Melbourne City (approx 1hr 15min - bus & train in total) with oodles of activities (Soccer Oval, AFL Oval, Skate Park, Half Basketball Court) and Funfields Adventure Water Park a 15 min bus/car ride just down the road. So even if you decide to have a rest day, there is still plenty to do at your leisure.

25km Melbourne City (35kms)
36km Domestic and International Airport (30mins)
93km Mornington Peninsula (1hr 20mins)
145km Bendigo (1hr 50mins)
195km Echuca (2hrs 20mins)
140km Torquay – Great Ocean Road (1hr 40mins)
160km Phillip Island (2hrs)
