About our home

Our apartment is on the 4th floor of a modernist building in a stunning dress-circle position above the harbour. It is full of light, with seven large front floor-to-ceiling windows, with views straight down the harbour past Clark and Shark Islands to Sydney Heads (the harbour entrance). The large living/dining room is curved and there is a second sitting room/study, a spacious main bedroom with a queen size bed (153 cm/5 feet wide), a guest bedroom with a double sized bed (138cm/4ft 6ins wide), and a compact kitchen and bathroom.
The building has a lift, although there are 15 easy steps up to the lift level. The large windows have the original 1950's glass – so, for safety reasons, the apartment is not suitable for children. It is also not possible to smoke in the apartment because the building and apartment are fitted with smoke and heat detectors. The beautiful park in front of the building is a lovely spot for sitting, reading, dreaming, drinking a glass of wine and smoking as needed!
Elizabeth Bay is an inner-Sydney urban residential area, great for living and visiting alike. It is a 5 minute walk to Potts Point, which is full of restaurants, cafes and small shops. A 45 minute walk takes you down through Woolloomooloo Bay, past the NSW Art Gallery, through the Botanic Gardens along the edge of the harbour and on to Sydney Opera House.
