About our home

Our home is named Cooinda and was built in 1880. It's an exceptional family estate set on over 1 acre offers everything a family could ever want - including liberal accommodation, an in-ground heated pool, tennis court, and a location near the banks of the Yarra River and extensive bike trails, just 30 minutes to Melbourne city. A flexible floor plan includes the ability to zone or separate the home into 2 residences. The lower level comprises 4 bedrooms (master with ensuite), beautiful study, a very comfortable lounge with 65 Inch TV, a family and dining zone with a commanding entertainers kitchen that spills to an outdoor alfresco deck overlooking the pool and tennis court, and a children's zone including music room and bathroom with rumpus to the rear. The upper level is configured to include 1 additional bedroom plus spare, 2 bathrooms, craft room and gym along with a theatre/living room where you can get lost in the big screen movies or play larger than life X-Box.

The house has been recently renovated so is living up to it's grand potential but at the same time is very comfortable and liveable. The plantation shutters give it a great style and feel. It as 12ft ceilings, polished timber floors, stone bench tops throughout, premium chef style cooking appliances, zoned heating and cooling systems, alarm. Externally, the grounds include an in-ground heated pool, flood lit mod grass tennis court and large trampoline. Something for everyone! With a location at the delta of the areas major arterials and surrounded by extensive parks.

We are happy to share this wonderful home and open to discussing car swaps including a 7 seater SUV. We have a cleaner also who can clean the house on your departure for a fee if required.

Eltham is a beautiful leafy Melbourne suburb with great cafes and restaurants and a strong artistic community, markets aplenty. It is a great base location to explore all of Melbourne and it surrounds including some of Victoria's best wine regions in the Yarra Valley and further afield to Victoria's Great Ocean Road. Melbourne itself is renowned for it's theaters, restaurants, coffee and great shopping.
