About our home

We have a new comfortable three bedroom, two bathroom home with a famiy/dining kitchen area, a small media room with an alfresco area and BBQ. Our home is situated in a quiet development of cottage lots occupied by mostly retirees, in the coastal city of Mandurah. just 75kms from the city of Perth. Mandurah is a holiday city built along the Indian Ocean and the Peel Inlet. We are a one hour drive from Bunbury and two and a half to the Margaret River wine region. We have a good train service to Perth, Fremante and northern suburbs as well as Midland and south of Perth to Armidale.

We are a retired couple, I was a Senior High School Registrar and Brian was in Financial Planning/Insurance and our mature sons live in Queensland. Our home is not set up for children as we have only a small paved area around the house and we have two queen bedrooms and one double more suitable for 6 adults. Our living area is airconditioned and the bedrooms have ceiing fans. Our climate is mild as we are close to the ocean and inlet, it is uaually 2-3 degrees cooler than Perth. The Peel Inlet is 600m from our home and is great for crabbing and fishing. There are lovely walk ways/cycle ways along the inlet and in the reserve next to our development.

We are close to two shopping centres, both have Coles Supermarkets, the closest has about 10 specialty shops, medical centre, service station and a private swimming pool and the other being about twice the size also with hardware shops, Tavern Service Station, Medical centre and more.
