About our home

Our beautiful home sits on 30 acres in the Byron Hinterland. Byron Bay is a 25 minute drive and the village of Federal is close by. The house has 5 bedrooms and a separate granny flat. The house is large and has a beautiful outlook.

Where is it?

Buzzy restaurants
Byron Bay has plenty of choice & has you covered breakfast, lunch and dinner......There are also other places nearby really worth trying like Milk and Honey woodfired pizza in Mullumbimby and Fleet in Brunswick Heads - a tiny but brilliant bar/restaurant in b eautiful Brunswick Heads.
Cool bars
Lots of cool bars
Cozy cafés
We are incredibly lucky to have Doma Japanese Cafe just down the road in Federal......get in early at the weekends as it is a popular spot, open every day for great coffee, breakfast and lunch. Live music too most weekends
Retail therapy
Huge choice of local farmers markets, plants and artisan crafts and gifts. Plus loads of shopping in Byron Bay.....especially swim wear!
Bit of culture
This area is all about natural beauty but we do have the stunning Tweed Art Gallery in Murwillumbah which is well worth a visit.
Walks in the park
Federal itself has a sweet little park where the kids can go on the swings and skateboard but this area is really all about the beach
Spot of exercise
The iconic Byron Bay lighthouse walk plus world class surfing beaches are just 30 minutes away.
Day tripping
We are roughly 1.5 hours from Brisbane if you fancy a night in the city.
