About our home

Only 9 kms from the cbd, close to river and parks. Short drive to iconic Norwood Parade, Adelaide Oval and Clipsal 500 track. Ideal for Adelaide's "Mad March" - Adelaide Festival of Arts, WOMAD, Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide Cup. Great public transport 50 metres away. Handy for access to Adelaide Hills and Morialta National Park. 1 hour to Barossa Valley and 30 minutes to Adelaide Hills wineries. 30 minutes to great beaches in the other direction.
The house was built in 2000 and is very comfortable with ducted air and heating and Wifi. Lovely neighbours,

Where is it?

Buzzy restaurants
Quite a few within a ten minute drive in all directions. A couple within walking distance
Cool bars
Recommend the Rising Sun, the Bath and the Robin Hood - all close.
Cozy cafés
Again, quite a few around the place
Retail therapy
A shopping centre five minutes walk away
Bit of culture
Short drives (10 minutes) to the National Wine Centre, South Australian Museum and SA Art Gallery, The Festival Theatre and other parts of Adelaide's cultural precinct
Walks in the park
Great parks including the Torrens Linear Park 5 minutes walk away at the bottom of our road. Morialta National Park, which I consider our best national park is ten mintes drive away.
Spot of exercise
Great bushwalking. Three gyms including a Fitness First 5 minutes walk away
Day tripping
The Barossa Valley wine district is aneasy one hour drive. The Adelaide Hills wine district and quaint hills towns, as well as beautiful beaches at Henley, Grange and Semaphore are only 30 minutes away. Glenelg would take you 40 minutes. Hills and beaches are in opposite directions from us, so handy for both
