About our home

Our home is a grand terrace built in 1899 and extensively renovated to a high standard in 2004. A harbourside park is at the end of the street and it is an easy stroll to the cafes, restaurants and shops of McMahons Point and Kirribilli. The terrace comprises four large bedrooms, three bathrooms, formal living areas, a study adjoining the master bedroom and an attic with view to the harbour. The kitchen has marble benchtops and state of the art appliances. A secluded courtyard at the rear of the house is perfect for al fresco dining. It is the ideal location from which to explore Sydney either by train or by ferry. There are many attractions for the whole family. For children, Luna Park, which is just a 5 minute stroll away, along the foreshore is a favourite attraction. Children love riding the Wild Mouse roller coaster, taking in the amazing Sydney Harbour views from the Ferris Wheel and taking in the old fashioned fun of Coney Island. For grown-ups there is a plethora of excellent restaurants offering a range of cuisines. Within walking distance there are restaurants serving Japanese, Chinese, Sri Lankan, Indian, Italian, Spanish, Thai, Modern Australian and many more. There is direct access to the harbour from the Milsons Point ferry wharf or you can dial a water taxi and leave from Lavender Bay wharf, just at the end of Walker Street.
