About our home

Our home is a 2 storey, 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms and a study. Two of the bedrooms have double beds, the third bedroom has 2 single beds and the fourth is still a nursery.

The house has superb views of the beautiful Derwent River and Geilston Bay. We are 10 minutes by car to the city centre and close to village shopping centre with supermarket, medical practices and all amenities.

The kitchen, living and dining areas are open plan with wonderful views and all day sun. There is a balcony facing the river views and outdoor area at rear opening to nature reserve with BBQ.

Quiet, leafy, suburban neighbourhood with easy access by car to all facilities. Beautiful walks around sunny foreshore and close to tennis courts, cricket and football grounds, swimming pool and yacht clubs. Ten minutes to Bellerive Oval. Short walk to bus stop. We are 10 minutes by car to beautiful, sandy beaches with views across to the city, or 20 minutes to airport.

There are excellent walking and cycling tracks around reserve or waterfront, and the house is well equipped with bikes for all ages.

Hobart has been named as one of the top ten travel destinations in the world by Lonely Planet. Hobart was the only Australian city on the list taken from the Lonely Planet Best in Travel 2013 guidebook, coming in at seventh.
