  1. I am a single woman travelling alone/ with friends
  2. A Registered nurse, semi-retired, with 4 sons, 25,24,22,18. The two older boys no longer live at home.
  3. I have Italian heritage and am hoping to spend time in several regions during 2016.

Buzzy restaurants
Lane Cove is a pleasant 20 minute walk with plenty of outdoor cafes and multi-cultural dining experiences. Crows Nest has many interesting and quirk shops/restaurants and is a 5 min drive or 10 minutes on the bus from our front door.
Cool bars
Lane Cove, Woolwich, Crows Nest, Cammeay have loads of bars and cafes to enjoy
Cozy cafés
Most cafes have al freco seating. Also try Lavender Point at Blues Point Rd (a 15minbus ride)
Retail therapy
shopping in every direction!!!!
Bit of culture
just a 25 min bus or drive into Circular Quay and the Opera House with choice of theatre, concerts or plays, an array of bars,cafes eateries or world-class restaurants at your fingertips
Walks in the park
Our local park is 2 min stroll, down to the river with city views, some childrens play equipment and even some ancient Aboriginal rock carvingsat the edge of the park. Our oval is a mecca for parents with children as well as the man dog-ownersthat use it daily....In summer you can watch local Cricket games on a sunday, with a picnic . We have several tennis clubs in the area as well as a local Golf course.
