This beautiful retreat is a rebuilt original settler's cottage. It enjoys stunning beach views of Kangaroo Island's Snellings beach. Completely and newly rennovated, it has an open-plan living and kitchen/dining room and three spacious bedrooms all with their own open ensuite. Two rooms also have their own balconies/courtyards. The main front balcony is where the views are drunk in over dinner.
The island is well known for it's national parks, rock formations and wildlife and there are endless sight-seeing options. But the house and environs are so relaxing and seductive that you could be content to only venture as far as the beach (which is a short stroll away) for a swim with the dolphins or a fish off the shoreline. This is the place to get away from it all- no smog, no noise, no cafe culture. It is a retreat in the purest sense.
The house is part of a luxury retreat (www.life-time.com.au) so cleaning, private chef and delivery dinners are available. It is also possible to arrange private dining in one of our unique settings: our 100 year old shearing shed and beach taverna are pictured.
