About our home

Our home is just over 10 years old and is furnished in a modern fairly casual style. It is well equipped with everything you will need for your holiday including use of the car and has a garage with internal access to the house. It is a terrace style home featuring private courtyard with water feature and outdoor dining with gas hotplate barbecue.
The living and dining rooms which open onto the outdoor patio feature double height ceilings and are drenched with sunlight during the winter months but relatively cool in the summer due to surrounding trees. Air- conditioning and heating are provided for additional year-round comfort. The modern kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, and all your cooking needs.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms one with King size and one with Queen size bed. Both have their own ensuite private bathrooms. One of these can be closed off as needed. Also upstairs is an open mezzanine area with a King single bed which can be used as a daybed or separate sleeping area.
The area is quiet for most of the year but gets very busy in the main holiday season ( Christmas and New Year)
Ideally located 3 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk to Noosa Main Beach and the boutiques and Restaurants of Hastings St. From here you can continue walking to the east to the National Park or walk along Main Beach towards the west and you will get to the river mouth in about 20 minutes
Start your day with a coastal walk in the National Park - you may spot a Koala, Dolphins or Whales. Return to Main Beach Boardwalk for coffee or breakfast at one of the many excellent cafes and restaurants. Enjoy time on the beach or drive a few minutes to the beautiful river area where there are frequent ferries, paths, barbecue areas and more cafes and shopping areas.
In the evening enjoy the magnificent sunsets - Best from Main Beach in the winter.
Sunshine Beach on the East Coast is beautiful all year round for walking and popular with surfers and swimmers who like the bigger waves...Just remember to swim between the flags near the Surf Lifesaving Club. The village shopping area here is very casual, relaxed and friendly with excellent coffee at the many cafes.
For those who like exploring the countryside there are several small hinterland towns about half an hours drive away or hire your own little motorboat or kayak and explore a bit more of the river.
Noosa Junction is our local shopping area with an IGA and Coles supermarkets. This area has many little neighbourhood cafes as well as the Post Office. This area has many international students who attend the Noosa English College.
