About our home

This cute and cosy one bedroom apartment has everything you'll need for a stay in Sydney.

Paddington is one of Sydney's most desirable suburbs with beautiful tree lined streets and coffee shops around every corner. We're moments away from Woollahra's Queen street shops and cafes, a few minutes walk to Paddington's Fiveways and 15 mins walk to the Westfield mall at Bondi Junction.
We're also a quick stroll away from Centennial Park if you'd like to stretch your legs and feed the ducks.

The apartment is fully furnished, has a washer/dryer, and has been recently renovated to create a more flowing open plan feel from the kitchen through to the bedroom.

We have never been smokers and our home is non smoking. We appreciate your respect of our wishes on this matter.

Features

More about us

  1. We are both retired primary school teachers. Our main home is at Sapphire Beach and we have an apartment in Paddington, Sydney. Either home can be made available.
  2. We enjoy walking, exploring the countryside, and visiting galleries and museums. Two of our children are married to Brits and we have frequent trips to the UK.
  3. We are very keen to find a swap in Breckenridge or Lake Tahoe in March 2018 for skiing.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
Our favourite is The Lord Dudley Hotel more English than English pubs. Too many restaurants to name.
Cool bars
Again we would have to check with our kids on this one.
Cozy cafés
Many, all good within a few minutes walk.
Retail therapy
Oxford Street is a shoppers delight - many new designers and pop up shops. Bondi Junction Westfield is huge
Bit of culture
What can I say! Sydney Opera House is a must, Sydney Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare, Belvoir Street Theatre, Bangarra Dance Theatre, NSW Art Gallery, far too many....
Walks in the park
Centennial Park three minutes walk, Botanic Gardens and harbour 15 minutes walk
Spot of exercise
Coast walk from Bondi to Bronte
Day tripping
Blue Mountains, Central Coast, South Coast. Closer to home, Manly, Cronulla, Parramatta ........ also names of Sydney football teams, Cronulla being the best :)
