About our home

Walk straight out to the beach. Located on one of only a few stretches along the Gold Coast with direct access to the beach, no road in between to cross. Also, a year round patrolled surfing beach is right in front. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, ideal for gazing at all the activities, surfers, joggers, walkers, all seen from an arm chair, without having to be out on the balcony.

Our newly renovated 3 bedroom apartment has views up and down the Coast and a great sunrise over the Pacific. Our beach Is one of the less crowded beaches on the Coast. Swim or surf, the patrolled beach is right in front, no need to walk or drive to a flagged, patrolled area. The Talle surf life saving club is less than 100 metres away, enjoy all the facilities, meals, drinks and regular entertainment. Sunday afternoons are popular. We're regulars for Tuesday night Trivia.

Our apartment faces north east, and so, picks up the warm winter sun and also captures all the summer flow through sea breezes for that pleasant year round climate. If you enjoy walking, take either a walk along the beach heading south to Palm Beach, or, put the joggers on and head north along the ocean walkway over the bridge to the Burleigh Headland National Park joining the joggers and walkers enjoying the freshness of the rain forest and amazing views up and down the coastline. At the other side stop at any of the many cafes for a coffee in Burleigh Heads. Then, the 30 min walk back home, either taking the track over the top or around the headland, with views down the coast and taking in the scenery of the picturesque Tallebudgera estuary. Now, for the beach and a swim to cool off, the ocean water temp. varies from around 20C in winter to a refreshing 25C in summer. It's straight out in front, or, if lying about a pool is more relaxing our unit complex has one. Instead of the surf, swimming at the Tallebudgera creek estuary is a popular option, only 5 mins walk away. It also is patrolled.

Our apartment is conveniently located with public transport is just a 3 min walk. South to the airport, Kirra and Coolangatta only 15 mins away or north to Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise also about 15 min away, no changing buses. Attractions along the coast include the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, the theme parks of Movie World, Sea World, Dreamworld and Wet and Wild. The casino, clubs, shopping malls and some great golf courses are also nearby. Take a short tour to the world heritage listed Lamington National Park or Springbrook NP, a 40 min scenic drive up through the ranges, or head south to the picturesque Byron Bay also about a 40 mins drive. Keep a day free to explore Brisbane, take the 1hr 30 min train trip right to the centre of the city for a walk through the Queen St. mall and enjoy a stroll along South Bank. Or, just take a relaxing break at home, whales pass by during the winter months.

Getting there:-
There are flights from every Australian capital city and many of the Asian and NZ cities directly into the Gold Coast. Our apartment is a short 15 min taxi from the airport. Our summer months enjoy a temperate climate around 29C. Being on the beach the apartment picks up all the cool sea breezes. Winter is just as pleasant with temps down to about 20C. The north facing aspect keeps the unit warm all day and night, no need for winter clothing.
