About our home

Our home was renovated several years ago with a new kitchen and hardwood flooring throughout, rendering and a hardwood decking verandah. There is a recently installed reverse-cycle ducted air-conditioner/heater to all rooms. The house is currently set up with two bedrooms and a study. The gardens are easy to manage with automatic sprinklers and drippers. There are plenty of things for the kids to enjoy inside and out, including a separate playroom at the rear of the house with various toys for many ages, such as a train set, drum-kit, etc. We would be happy to arrange for baby seats, toys, etc if needed.

Our house is on a very quiet suburban street in the eastern suburbs, close to a recently upgraded park and only 5 km from the city centre. The house is only a few minutes drive form the lovely Norwood Parade district, with ample shopping, cafes and restaurants. A 10-minute bike ride away is the fantastic Linear Park along the River Torrens. We have four bikes to use, and a baby carrier and trailer if needed.

Adelaide is famous for its festivals (Adelaide Festival, Fringe, etc), its amazing wine regions (McLaren Vale, Barossa, Clare, Adelaide Hills, Langhorne Creek, etc) and as a gateway to the Flinders Ranges. The Adelaide hills wineries and beaches are all within a 30 minute drive. Hills walks are a 15 minute drive, for example Morialta, which has rugged gorges and waterfalls (and koalas).

We would be interested in discussing a car swap. Currently, we have a Holden Astra wagon (Opel/Vauxhall Astra estate), however this is likely to be upgraded in early 2016.
