About our home

The house has polished timber floors, high ceilings with plenty of air circulating to keep cool in summer. Reverse cycle airconditioning for hot or cool days. Enjoy a choice of decks to soak up or escape the sun.

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 have queen size beds and the third has a double sofa bed and a single folding bed. There is also a cot which is good for children up to 3 years.

The 2 bathrooms have toilets and showers. Children can be washed with the hand shower or in a tub.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, gas cook top and electric fan forced oven. You will find plenty of utensils, cutlery and crockery you would need.

We are grandparents so have a few pushbikes, a toddler trailer, some toys and a cot so that you bring the children and cycle the many local bike tracks along the seaside.

Redcliffe is a great area for families and people who love water sports, golf, cycling, fishing, boating, bowls, picnics, BBQs etc.

There are a variety of restaurants along the bay so you don't need to cook. You can browse through the local art galleries and boutiques. There are local supermarkets within walking or driving distance, with a small shopping centre just around the corner.

If you wish to travel to Brisbane, you can drive or catch an express bus or bus/train combination.

The climate is warm almost all year and we enjoy plenty of sunshine.
