“Wow! What an incredible location for such a beautiful home. This incredible home fit our family of 5 with ease and even though were had booked the additional cottage for a few days for my parents to stay, it wasn't even needed! We had the most wonderful holiday exploring the local beach (just beyond the back gate), cafes and playgrounds. We would definitely stay again.”

About our home
The house is nestled against a reserve behind the beach and is extremely private. There is an easy 5 minute walk through the reserve down on to the beach and the reserve is a haven for wild life including Brush Turkeys and water dragons. Once on the beach you can walk for miles in either direction or just sit and swim. There is also a pool beside the house that is suitable for kids or for adults who are not strong swimmers.
The main house has 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms but there is also a little cottage on the property with another bedroom. The living room and kitchen are on the second floor above the bedrooms and both have stunning sea views. The balcony has a barbecue and a table and chairs. This is a mesmerising place to sit at any time of the day as the sea changes from minute to minute.
The house is at the end of a cul de sac and there are neighbours on either side who are friendly and helpful but often away. A car or bicycle is required to get to any shops but there are many within easy reach. There are numerous shopping areas both north and south of the house.
A 10 minute drive takes you to the centre of Coff's Harbour which is a popular local tourist destination about half way between Sydney and Brisbane and there are plenty of activities for kids and adults. The "Big Banana" has an amusement park, an ice skating rink, trike rides and a "World of Bananas Adventure Tour".
Bicycles can be hired and there is a magic ride through the botanical gardens and along the beach front all the way to Sawtell at the southern side of the town where there are great shops and good restaurants.
There are perfect beaches for surfing and surfing lessons are available. A marine reserve lies off the coast and there are opportunities for kayaking, paddle boarding, whale watching and diving.
Inland there are beautiful rivers to explore by canoe and white water rafting to experience. There is also horse riding available and both lessons and trail rides are offered. Sky diving can be arranged at the small local airport where helicopters and small planes can also be chartered.
The Bonville Golf Resort is one of the world's most beautiful golf courses and has consistently been voted as the most beautiful in Australia. It also boasts a superb restaurant.
There are a wide variety of restaurants in the area and fine dining at The Jetty next to the marina in town but there is nothing to beat the view from the house.
A number of festivals occur in the surrounding area during the year including a Jazz festival, a readers and writers festival in Bellingen and the curry festival at Woolgoolga.
The weather is warm from about November to May and temperatures may reach 30C but there are always cool sea breezes. In the winter months temperatures do not generally fall below 15C though it may be cooler inland.

“Although it rained every day while we were there, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gabrielle's beach house. Its closeness to the beach, ocean views, spaciousness, comfort, ambiance, peacefulness and warm pool made it all enjoyable. Gabrielle kindly welcomed our little dog to stay too which was not expected, but appreciated.”
“Gabrielle and Neil's home was large enough for our family of five with room to spare. The ocean view from the entire top floor is lovely, just as the photos show in the description. Our only minor issue was the tiny garage off a steep driveway as we had a larger vehicle. We would highly recommend staying at this location because of the spacious house and beautiful ocean views. Coffs Harbour is a lovely location to visit with numerous beach and forest walks (Muttonbird Island, Solitary Islands Walk, Dorrigo National Park) and tourist activities (Dolphin Marine Magic, Big Banana). We even enjoyed ocean swimming at Park beach and the Jetty. Thank you very much Gabrielle and Neil!”
