About our home

We live amongst parks right on Sydney Harbour with a ferry stop which takes you to the city in five minutes via the the Harbour Bridge, Harbour parks and Opera House. It is a stunning landscape that an icnonic image of Sydney Harbour as part of everyday life. It's also perfect for families or singles with the main street a five minute walk with pubs, cafes and restaurants. There are lots of other families and singles in an urban setting and that's what we love about where we live, it's nicknamed, 'The Village'.

We have just renovated one bathroom (just waiting to put the shower in) and about to fully renovate our other bathroom. That's why there's no photos of the interior up yet, but we will put them up as soon as we can. The main bedroom is upstairs on the third level. The guest bedroom is on the second floor with a queen bed. In the third bedroom our two daughters sleep and there is a single bed and a cot. If a family swaps we can leave out the toys. There's also a trampoline in the backyard. There's a barbecue for the adults and outdoor eating area.

There are two pubs in less than 100 metres. Balmain is famous because it has the highest ratio of pubs per capita in Sydney - well there's a lot. There's also lots of parks for kids if you have a family. Would love to hear from you if you are interested.
