About our home

Our home, which was featured in Home Beautiful magazine (December 2009) is a fully-renovated Californian bungalow on Sydney's lower north shore. The extensive outdoor areas feature Tuscan influences and include a beautiful heated pool, pergola and outdoor self-contained studio. We are a 5 minute walk from Artarmon Station (where trains to the city take approx. 15 mins), and a 10 minute drive into the city. Local shops and cafes are just a walk away. Accommodation features 4-5 bedrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms in the separate self-contained studio (which has its own TV with Foxtel, internet, gas fireplace and travertine-tiled bathroom). The main house has a very large living area with dark polished floor boards and fireplace leading to a Travertine tiled kitchen area. There is also a separate art-deco TV room with fireplace and Apple TV facilities (and a piano!) The main bedroom is downstairs and has its own dressing room and en-suite. The 3 children's rooms are upstairs with their own play area and bathroom. There is a separate study and cellar. The outdoor BBQ area adjoins the kitchen, which overlooks the pool. The garden and pool face due north (ideal in the Southern Hemisphere) and the house adjoins a bike path which gives easy access by bike or foot to parks, ovals and Sydney Harbour (at Tunks Park).

We have 3 extra foam single mattresses and a blow up queen size bed in addition to the 2 queen size beds, 4 singles (including 1 king single) and single trundle bed in the house.
