About our home

This apartment is in a converted Tobacco Factory. Entrance begins with wide inviting hallway that leads into massive open plan area. Size is approximately 172sq.meters.(1829sq.ft) There is a modern kitchen with large console, 10seat wooden dining table, living area with 2 lounges, grasshopper chair and ottomans. Full width sliding glass doors then open to north facing loggia balcony with 6 seat table and bar-b-que. Here, there are several shutters that when open will give beautiful district views and city skyline. There are 2 large bedrooms (queen beds). master has ensuite bathroom and walk-in dressing area, 2nd has built-in robes. There is a second bathroom with shower and spa bath. Study has divan couch. Laundry with w/m and dryer. The apartment is light filled as there are big windows along NE side. It is on the top floor with wide stairway up. Wi-fi internet.

The apartment is in exclusive Paddington in Eastern Suburbs. There is public transport at the door which takes you into Sydney CBD and Circular Quay/Sydney harbour. There are parks nearby and tree lined streets with beautiful terrace houses. The area is flat and the apartment is within very easy walking distance to boutique shopping along Oxford Street. There are many restaurants nearby as well as fabulous art galleries, and art house cinemas, all within 5-10 minutes walk. There is a large grocery store close by. The apartment is extremely quiet. Public transport will also take you the other way directly to Bondi Beach where you can experience a magic time even in autumn. The locale offers many delights to the visitor. An undercover garage space is available if you rent a car whilst staying. The building is secure, the neighbourhood is quiet.

We are a professional retired couple who now enjoy travel. We often walk into the city from our apartment, which takes approximately 15 minutes, to visit the State Art Gallery, other public buildings, and then onto Circular Quay to attend a concert or opera at the Opera House. Art appreciation is a great interest for us and we are interested in travel anywhere.
