There are excellent restaurants, cinemas, boutique shops and a short ferry or bus ride to city attractions.

Supermarkets and services are a 5 minute walk away. Close by are Taronga Park zoo, Balmoral Beach, historic forts and tunnels, bushland, bird watching, views of the city, marinas, restaurants, fish and chips on the beach, and canoe & sailboat hire.

Sydney in winter is often blissfully sunny, with an overnight mean temperature in July of 8, rising to 16 during the day. It's the cool time to travel north to explore Australia's red centre or Queensland's tropical north.
