About our home

Well presented 3 bedroom, water front holiday home sited on an immaculately landscaped garden block in the sea side coastal town of Forster-Tuncurry.

The house has 3 double bedrooms (2 queens and 1 double), lounge room (with double sofa), separate dining, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry and an enclosed screen/summer room overlooking a large landscaped backyard with its own jetty onto Wallis Lake.

The house is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and other attractions and is only a 20 minute walk or short level bicycle ride (bikes provided) to beaches.

Explore Wallis Lake at your own leisure using the canoe and kayaks provided, or take a tour on one of the dolphin and whale watching charters. You may also wish to fish from your own private jetty or hire a small boat to catch dinner.

Forster-Tuncurry is approx 3 hours north of Sydney and is one of the most popular and picturesque holiday destinations in NSW. The twin towns are located at the mouth of Wallis Lake and enjoy a warm, mild climate year round. The area has numerous lake and surf beaches and the clear, turquoise waters are a mecca for families, surfers and water lovers alike. Whale, dolphin and scenic cruises operate in and around Wallis Lake year round. Please see http://www.greatlakes.org.au for further details.

The area is renowned for its estuary, beach, rock and ocean fishing while the surrounding ocean waters include some of the most spectacular dive locations along the NSW coast. Numerous deep water & estuary fishing and scuba diving charter boats operate from the twin towns. Other adventure related activities include white water kyaking and mountain biking (at Gloucester - approx 1 hour by car.

There are 18 hole golf courses located in both Forster and Tuncurry while other 18 hole courses are located at Hallidays Point (approx 15 minutes away by car) and in Taree (30 minutes). There are numerous lawn bowling and other sporting/service clubs in both towns.
