About our home

Our beautiful home is on the top (7th) floor of a quiet riverside block. Amazingly quiet and private, it faces north allowing it to be bathed in winter sun but shaded in summer and capturing river breezes. We live on the huge 160 square meter deck looking up the river to the sparkling city lights. The famous Southbank is a 2km walk along the river and we have bicycles to explore the riverside bikeways and beyond. 15 meter pool and gym in the complex.

Buzzy restaurants: The famous Vietnamese strip is one block away on Hargrave. Our favourite is Mondo's (contempory a la carte) a little further along but loads more in Boundary Street.
Cool bars: Too many to mention. Head up Vulture street, boundary street or Southbank
Cozy cafés: Alberto's in Montague, or anywhere along Boundary.
Retail therapy: West End markets every saturday (right next door), plus the city centre 3ks away.
Bit of culture: Southbank is Brisbane's cutlural centre and is 2 kms away by the river or 1.5ks direct.
Walks in the park: We live on the river which has a bike way that goes for miles. Also we are next to a park.
Spot of exercise: bike ways, running, gym in complex
Day tripping: Gold Coast is 45 minutes to one hour south and the Sunshine Coast is 1.5 - 2 hours north. The hinterland has loads of moutains retreats, bushwalking, rainforest, Fraser Island is three hours north
