About our home

We are now actively looking for home swaps, points trips or rentals across Europe (especially Croatia in October 2016 and Morocco in Nov/Dec 2016). We will be travelling from July 16 until end April 2017 and our beautiful home in Australia (located in Sydney's most northern tip) is available. Our 3 bedroom treehouse is warm and inviting, it exudes a private hinterland appeal yet is only minutes walk to gorgeous Whale Beach. It has magnificent views over Pittwater to one side and reaches around to the ocean on the other. The home is surrounded by nature offering a calm ambiance. We are blessed with regular visitations from native Australian birds and one of our spectacular spotted gums is home to a King Parrot family. There are large open plan living and dining areas with polished timber floors, wood fireplace and bi-folding doors flowing seamlessly onto large wraparound entertaining decks. Our kitchen is equipped with glass splashbacks and stainless appliances, including an Ilve oven/gas cook top plus a Bosch dish washer. The main bathroom boasts a luxurious oversized spa bath overlooking the hinterland outside. Perfect to enjoy with a partner or alone, absolutely perfect for melting away stress. The upper level is dedicated to a master retreat with its own terrace, 2 balconies, dressing room and ensuite. The other 2 generously sized bedrooms open onto the decks. It sleeps 6 based on current bedding (2 x double beds and 1 x Queen bed), however could comfortably fit up to 10 if own bedding was provided. Due to its secluded location it comes with an inclinator for ease of access and a tandem carport. Our location is peaceful and perfect to reset whilst still having the ability to enjoy many sightseeing opportunities such as nearby Palm Beach (where Home and Away is filmed), Barrenjoey lighthouse, Bangalley Head (a great opportunity to do some hiking and one of the best spots in NSW to see Humpback Whales during their migration period between May and November). The property is also close to all essential amenities with Avalon Village, just a short drive away. The town is filled with boutique shopping, grocery stores, organic produce, cafes, restaurants, bars and a cinema. Sydney city with all its wonderful sights is only about 50 mins. I also have a Mercedes Benz C200 2013 model that I would be happy to include in a house swap.
