About our home

Travel to Tasmania, home of the Tasmanian Devil, and a wonderful escape from all of the other Loony Tunes in your life.
An elevated beach shack overlooking the beautiful, family friendly, dog friendly White Beach which is only 50 footsteps away!

Get away from it all but still have all the conveniences nearby – two supermarkets, bottleshops, restaurants and cafes, a pharmacy, medical centre etc only a 5 minute drive into Nubeena. Or you could even collect your own wild seafood!

Close to surf beaches like Kelpies, Roaring Beach, Safety Cove and Eaglehawk Neck and only 15 minutes drive to the walk out to Shipsterns Bluff, fishing spots, historic Port Arthur, a whiskey distillery, historic coal mines, many day/over night walking trails and National Parks and other beautiful white sand beaches, golf course, tennis courts and much more.

You will see lots of wildlife around the area including Tasmanian Devils, Quolls, wombats, many birds and even some wallabies in the back garden and there are a couple of perfect Aurora Australis viewing spots close by.

White Beach is dog friendly (off-leash for most of the year) and so is our shack!

It gets pretty cold down the bottom of Tassie during winter as the next landmass is really Antarctica but White Beach is sheltered from the cold winds and we have a cosy fireplace to keep the house warm so it's a wonderful place to visit all year.
