About our home

Have points to use so interested in point swaps, but not taking any points bookings at the moment. Looking at places to stay that are available during the WA school holiday breaks: December 19th 2016 to 27 January 2017: April 8th to 25th; 1st to 25th July; 23rd September to 8th October.

As the house is not our principle place of residence, swaps do not need to be simultaneous, however as it is a holiday rental, it does get booked out during peak time (December/January school holidays and Easter for example).

This property is a little slice of heaven. Spend balmy evenings sipping wine while you BBQ up a storm on the deck. Featuring your own private pool and a gourmet kitchen, you will not find a better place to escape. This property is in the famous Margaret River wine region in the South West of Western Australia, close to many amazing wineries that the region has to offer, not to mention some of the most beautiful beaches and coastline you will ever see. Nestled between the surf town of Yallingup and trendy Dunsborough, you will feel a million miles away, but you are only a ten minutes drive to either town. The home caters for all seasons. In the summer you can laze by the pool and take advantage of the alfresco area, then in winter use the fire to keep warm while you curl up with a glass of wine and look over the vineyard. Perfect for couples or families, with lots to do in the area, or at the property, with pool table, tennis table, trampoline, lots of space to run around. The home is set on ten acres, and the house overlooks the vineyard growing the famous Margaret River grapes! This home consists of four bedrooms - 2 main bedrooms with King size beds and ensuite bathrooms; a 3rd with a QS bed and single trundle and a 4th with bunk beds and a trundle - sharing a bathroom.

You may never want to leave the house but if you do, you are on the doorstep of one of the most spectacular regions/ places in the world - there is so much to do! Only 2.5 hours drive from the city of Perth, the Margaret River region is an enticing mosaic of pristine natural wonders, premium wineries, relaxed microbreweries, world-class restaurants, spectacular beaches, towering forests, inspirational artisans, warm and friendly locals, and a laid-back persona all of its own. From the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay in the north, down the ancient cave-carved Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, through picturesque vineyards and karri forest of the heartland, to the desolate beauty of Cape Leeuwin in the south, this is a place of astounding natural contrasts. You’ll need at least a few days to explore the region; For more info visit:

To the north, the warm tranquil waters of Geographe Bay have created the best swimming beaches in Dunsborough and Busselton. Choose from secluded sheltered coves to long shallow beaches with fine white sand. Take the picturesque tourist drive, regional park walking track or even go by kayak to discover your special spot. On the west coast, the might and power of the Indian Ocean is incredible to watch. Stretching 120km, this coastline has areas calmed by limestone reefs, lagoons and curving headlands. World famous for its surf, this section of coastline also offers great designated swimming beaches. Scenic lookouts, small coastal towns of Yallingup and Gracetown and tourist resorts are dotted along this coastline.
