About our home
Large and impressive renovated chateau in a popular southern neighbourhood in Brussels comprised of 6 apartments. Our ground floor apartment is 300sq meters and extends out onto a large manicured garden. Large open plan living with superb polished wooden floors and only a short walk to the local bars, restaurants and the weekend market. You won't be disappointed!
The apartment has 3 bedrooms:
Master Bedroom: Queen bed with fold out double couch & private ensuite.
Bedroom 2: Queen with private ensuite
Bedroom 3: Childrens bed, cot and fold out double bed with private ensuite.
Each ensuite has its own bath, toilet and shower. There are 4 toilets in the apartment. Parking is available.
The chateau is ideally located on the edge or Forest de Soigne which has lots of great running & bike tracks. When exploring the forest, be sure to keep an eye out for traditional restaurants and a Belgium brewing abbey. Directly in Boitsfort there is the famous Sunday produce market. Here you can pick up your local fresh fruit and vegetables and great tasting organic bread (tell John we sent you!) The market is a big attraction and often has live music where you can enjoy a glass of wine with escargots!
During your stay you are welcome to use our bikes to explore the city and neighbouring forest. We have a single chariot which allows you to cycle with a young child. Our apartment has floor heating, glazed windows and is well equipped with WiFi, Flat Screen TV, Printer, Scanner, DVD player and Entertainment system with surround sound.
The apartment has good access to public transport (trams, bus & metro) so reaching the city takes only 20mins. There is a tram stop (#94) within 5 minutes walking distance which takes you to the Louise shopping district and the trendy Chatlain and Flagey with lots of fun bars and restaurants. From Brussels you can easily visit various cities (Paris, London & Amsterdam) with the Eurostar and Thalys high speed trains. Within Belgium there is lots to see and do... make sure you visit Brugge, Gent and Antwerp.
We can arrange a cleaner during your stay and we can help with recommending a babysitter if necessary.
