About our home

Our house was built in 2003 by a famous local architect who is known for his high ceilings and beautiful style. The house is our second home and a place were we love to be with friends and family. It is cozy, functional and has all the amenities one need in a beach/golf/vacation house.

The house is situated inside a Golf course and has stunning views to the course and the sea. The course was designed by Pete and Perry Dye, from Dye Designs in Colorado, and coordinated by Dom Eudes de Orleans e Bragança, the Búzios Golf Club has over 1,000,000 m2 of green areas with valleys and hills bordering the lakes with 18 holes of golf. Buzios village is only 8km/10 minutes away from the house and has it's own story, it was originally settled by European pirates and slave traders, this happy mixture of many bloods prospered and became a picturesque fishing village, elected one of the 10 most beautiful areas in the world, famous for its unique combination of rustic charm, architectural harmony, incredible beauty and sophisticated boutiques and restaurants frequented by discerning visitors who come from all over the world to savour its magic. In the early 70's Brigite Bardot elected Buzios one of her favorite places in the world and you can see her bronze statute in Rua das Pedras overlooking the sea.
