About our home

Our stunning home was built in 2012 with super high ceilings in the living/dining room in our lovely Marina Community of Boblo Isand (on the Detroit River on Canadian Side). Our back yard opens up to a very well maintained conservation area where the island deer run about as bald eagles sour overhead. Boblo Island (aka Bois Blanc)has rich history and you can feel apart of that while roaming around the island on foot. We are a 4min ferry ride from the historic Amherstburg famed for the war of 1812. Amherstburg is 20mins away from Windsor and Detroit and a small boat ride to Grosse Isle which is a must see. Amherstburg is the safest community in Canada. Boblo Island also has a seasonal restaurant, SUP Paddle Boarding and a White Sands Beach and lighthouse at the tip with a marina and beach volleyball net.
