About our home

In Niagara wine country. Built in the late 1800's but with a newly renovated kitchen and light filled open concept living and dining room. Tastefully decorated with a mix of antique and classic. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a den/media room with a fireplace. Large grounds, beautiful, private, sunny back yard, extensive flower gardens (our pride and joy) front and back, gas barbecue, vine covered pergola as one of the outdoor eating areas, with a heated inground salt water pool. This is our second home and a beautiful oasis.
We are located at the edge of a small, friendly town on the unique Beamsville Bench wine producing area. Full of farmer's roadside stands, dozens of small wineries and fine restaurants. This area is perfect for history buffs interested in the War of 1812. We are a quick drive to Niagara Falls, Queenston Heights, Niagara on the Lake and the U.S. and an easy drive to Toronto. For U.S. visitors, far easier (and way less costly!) to fly in and out of Buffalo, and rent a car to our home, only 40 miles/70 kilometers distant. Surrounded by nature, walk to orchards and vineyards in minutes, at the foot of the Niagara Escarpment, migratory route for hawks and eagles. Beautiful country roads and small towns, rural Ontario at its best, lots of rolling hills and valleys, hugely popular area for cycling enthusiasts.
