Our 'Whistler' style 4,500 sqft open-plan home was built in 2010 in a contemporary style with soaring double height Great Room with glass wall looking out to the ocean and mainland mountain range. The house has high-end finishes such as bespoke cabinetry, granite, stone and hardwood throughout. We have a 25ft natural stone fireplace with a contemporary woodburning stove that you can toast your marshmallows on after a day's skiing, sailing or hiking! Two bedrooms have balconies with ocean views and there is a downstairs bedroom with private deck. Our basement rec room is ideal for the kids to hang out with table tennis, TV & Wii.

The house is elevated on 2.5 acres of landscaped grounds with extensive deck and terrace area with folding sliding doors directly into the kitchen/living area.

Just a few minutes walk away is an unspoilt beach with amazing wildlife (seals, eagles, rockpools, purple starfish, driftwood galore). It is a short drive to Mt Washington for skiing in winter, hiking and mountain biking in summer. Several golf courses are in the area, and for sailors and kayakers we have the spectacular fjords, mountains and wildlife of Desolution Sound. Also convenient for Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria, Tofino (surfing, whale watching) and whale watching in the north of the Island at Telegraph Cove (amazing experience).
