About our home

My partner Mike and I have recently bought an adorable home in the Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island. It was built in 1955 and has so many beautiful details of the time, making it a great and unique place to live. It is painted an adorable light pink colour, with a white picket fence and flowers/succulents outside. It is 2 bedroom, one bathroom - but we have a basement we will be converting into a suite within the next few months.

There is wifi, a tv/dvd/roku (netflix), dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, etc.

It is a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the city centre (10 min walk). Courtenay is not a huge city, but it is known for it's wonderful restaurants, shopping and arts/culture scene. The winters are beautiful.. We usually get snow, and are about 30 minutes from the top of an amazing ski resort (Mount Washington). There are many other winter activities around here, snow shoeing, snow mobiling, etc. The summers are great because it can get up to 30 degrees, and we are surrounded by water. Ocean, river or lake are within a 15 minute drive (or less) from our house. Beautiful beaches, tubing down the river, fishing... So much to do!
