Our comfortable and well equipped 2,500 sq ft home offers you the perfect base for a family or couples holiday. With two large queen bedded rooms, one with ocean view and one with garden view and vine wrapped balcony it is ideal for two couples wishing to holiday together as both rooms offer full bathrooms plus an additional shower room on ground floor. There is a smaller third bedroom which also has ocean view. The ground floor is open plan with lounge seating next to glazed wall overlooking the hot tub and garden and a 50" TV connected to computer so offering UK TV as well as local cable channels. Hi speed internet access. Dining room, The large breakfast kitchen is comprehensively equipped to meet the dreams of any cook. There is also a utility room, den, and deck with outdoor table and large grill/rotisserie (barbecue). This is Gabriola, the island of the Arts. The same size as Manhattan but home to just 4,000 lucky residents and offering beaches, miles of woodland and ocean front trails and countless artists studios to visit. The village core will meet all day to day shopping needs including pharmacy, bank, supermarket, liquor stores, and there are also services often only found in much larger places including RCMP, Ambulance station and Medical clinic with emergency and urgent treatment bays. Gabriola is reached by a 20 minute car ferry service from Nanaimo harbour on Vancouver Island that operates daily from 6.15am to 11pm at approximately 75 minute intervals. Vancouver Island lies west of Vancouver City and is the same length as England! Here you will find Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia, Pacific Rim National Park, Tofino the world renowned surfing centre and the wilderness and wildlife of the north island that most people only glimpse from passing cruise ships.
