More about us

  1. We are a retired couple from Canada planning a 3 month stay in New Zealand from January 2014 to the end of March 2014. We were looking at the possibility of 3 or 4 weeks simultaneous- or non simultaneous exchange and the rest as a rental. Or if you prefer, a rental for the complete 3 months is also possible. If you consider an exchange, you could come to our condo near Ottawa next summer. If this or another arrangement can be made and negotiated, please get in touch as soon as possible. (Our condo built in 2006, has a floor plan of 140 m2 with a balcony facing a wooded area. It is equipped with all the modern comforts (air conditioning, dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave oven, TV etc.). We live in a residential sector of Gatineau near Gatineau Park and Ottawa, Canada's capital, and the University of Ottawa, the Rideau Canal, the Centretown area and the museums. Early Fall in Quebec is beautiful with the changing colors of the leaves. We are close to the Gatineau Park, one of Canada's best rated National Park. Ottawa is a peaceful, clean, bilingual city (English and French), with a number of waterways and many bicycle paths. Here you can see the magnificent Parliament buildings, the National Arts Centre, several museums, and many parks and green spaces. The city is host to various music and dance festivals. Ottawa is close to major cities like Montreal (2 hours), Toronto and Quebec (4.5 hours), and it is not far from the United States. I worked at Parliament and my wife as an editor-translator.  Hoping to hear from you soon,
