About our home

Our home is a three story, 2,200 square foot Edwardian house with four bedrooms upstairs, two full bathrooms, one half bathroom, and a recently renovated south facing family room with cathedral ceiling and wood burning fireplace. Finished basement includes laundry, full bathroom, and sauna. Mature perennial garden, large back deck, and private driveway.

Our home is located in central Halifax, on a quiet residential tree-lined street in Halifax's historic South End neighbourhood. We are within walking distance to universities, hospitals, excellent elementary and secondary schools as well as downtown Halifax and the city's waterfront. Close to grocery stores, shopping, parks, museums, and art galleries. Halifax is a beautiful, historic city and is a central location for touring Atlantic Canada. Halifax is close to beautiful beaches, lakes, hiking and skiing.

We are a family of three. Our daughter attends the local French Immersion elementary school. We are professionals who work for the provincial government. We are active in our community volunteering at our daughter's school and our church. We also enjoy sports including swimming, tennis, skiing and skating. We enjoy travelling and look forward to living in France for one year.
