About our home

In summer enjoy your morning coffee on the 2nd floor south-facing balcony or in the shade on the large north-facing deck with mountain views all around. Large fenced, private backyard with peach tree and garden shed.
The property is located in the town of Keremeos (approx. 1,500 population) on Highway #3 in the scenic south Similkameen Valley of British Columbia. There is a High School and Elementary school, Daycare Centre, Medical Clinic, EMS and RCMP situated in the town.
Summers are generally dry and hot. Winters are mild. There are over 600 acres of vineyards in this area and many orchards. It is home to 12 estate wineries and is the “Fruit Stand Capital of Canada” where you will find – in season - apples, apricots, cherries, grapes, peaches, pears, plums and every vegetable imaginable also walnuts, filberts and almonds. The region is also considered to be the organic capital of Canada with an estimated 42% of all crops grown organically.
Explore the area, shop, golf, camp, hike, swim, kayak, canoe or tube on the Similkameen River, visit wineries, fruit stands, ranches & farms, fish, hunt, bike. You may see mountain sheep, Bighorn sheep, mountain goats, moose, bear, cougar, deer, wild horses and coyotes.

We are 4 hrs. from Vancouver, 1hr. from Kelowna, 1/2 hr. from Penticton and 1/2 hr. from the border to the U.S. Westjet and Air Canada fly into Penticton.
