About our home

Our home is set on twenty acres within the city of Kamloops, British Columbia. Seven minute drive to restaurants, groceries or shopping. The house is set on a gentle hill with beautiful rolling hills providing a beautiful vista and sunsets. We have well trained dogs, barn cats, a hen house that will provide you with fresh eggs each morning, horses and sheep. During a swap we envision having our trusted neighbors take care of the horses, sheep and barn chores - unless you wanted to do it yourself for the total rural experience! We have three horses and a riding ring and barn.
Kamloops provides for world class mountain biking, with miles and miles of trails for all experience levels. 45 minute drive to Sun peak Mountain resort provides world class skiing during winter months and excellent down-hill biking and hiking opportunities in the summer. Kamloops region as has excellent wineries and golf. It is centrally located in British Columbia, providing easy access to Vancouver, Kelowna and Alberta.
Enjoy bird watching, golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, camping and other outdoor pursuits in the summer, and in the winter cross country ski at our nearby groomed nordic trails or downhill ski options, snow shoeing or ice fishing. Tap into the horse and agriculture scene, or head downtown for upscale dining options or check out the local music and arts scene. Canada, in particular this part of Canada, are an outdoor enthusiast's dream come true.

We are an active family that enjoys the outdoors, good food and history. We have vacationed in other peoples homes in the past and always treat peoples homes with respect and careful attention. We would possibly be willing to swap our 2012 Town and Country minivan. We are willing to home school our children to allow us to go somewhere for a longer period of time... up to 3-4 months. Our children speak french and are we are learning arabic and spanish. We are willing to go anywhere in the world that is safe, has adequate health care, with preference given to places close to the water.
